The core working principle of the density cleaner is to separate impurities from the slurry by utilizing centrifugal force. When the slurry enters the equipment tangentially, it rotates at high speed to form a vortex. Impurities with greater density (such as metals and sand) are thrown towards the wall of the device due to centrifugal force and sink to the sediment collection chamber, while the lighter good slurry gathers in the central area and is discharged through the slurry outlet.
It has the advantages of small covered floor area, large production capacity, simple automatic and adjustable reject discharge operation, free blockage in the reject discharge port, high cleaning efficiency and small fiber loss. The cone is very wear-resistant, so it has a long service life; there is no transmission within the centricleaners, so the maintenance cost can be reduced greatly. There are two forms for reject discharging: full automatic and manual form.
